What is the use of ANSI cast steel strainers'
ANSI cast steel strainers are used to filter fluids that go through cast steel valves, typically in industries such as gas, petroleum and petrochemical industries, or steam, gas oil, and water systems.
Here are the main specifications of our ANSI cast steel strainers:
- Stainless-steel filter is removable
- Models with RF class 150/ANSI 150 (PN20) flanges are available in 2 to 16 diameters
- Models with RF class 300/ANSI 300 (PN50) flanges are available in 2 to 12 diameters
- 1 mm mesh for DN50 (2), 1.5 mm from DN65 to 400 (2,5 to 16)
- Bolted bonnet with NPT threaded draining cap, facilitating strainer cleaning
- RAL 7001 grey painting, 60 µm thickness
These strainers can be mounted horizontally or vertically with descendant fluid (respecting the flow direction indicated by the arrow). It is also important to know that the ANSI cast steel strainers offered by Syveco withstand temperatures ranging from -29 °C to +425 °C, and a maximum pressure service of 20 bar for ANSI 150 and 50 bar for ANSI 300.
