Ductile iron butterfly valve 1173 wafer CF8M disc/EPDM seat HT
Reference 1173: wafer concentric butterfly valve for high temperatures
Our reference 1173 is a wafer concentric butterfly valve is made up of a GGG40 (also named EN-GJS-400-15) ductile iron body and a CF8M stainless-steel disc. Ductile iron is highly resilient and flexible as it contains spheroidal graphite. For its part, the seat is made up of high temperature EPDM which allows better resistance to temperature compared to classic EPDM: from -10 °C to +130 °C.
This valve comes in sizes comprised between DN32-40 and DN500, and is provided with PN10/16 flanged connections (class 150 or ANSI 150). It withstands a maximum pressure of 16 bar up to DN300, and 10 bar for larger sizes.
Our wafer concentric butterfly valve also offers a large number of technical characteristics, listed as follows:
- Removable high-temperature EPDM seat
- Long neck for isolation
- ISO 5211 mounting pad
- Full crossing stem (up to DN65)
- With lever up to DN300, with gearbox for bigger sizes
- Electrostatic RAL 5012 epoxy paint coated body, 250µm thickness
Finally, the wafer concentric butterfly valve is commonly used with various liquids, such as cold and hot water, sea water, demineralised water, alcohol, milk of lime, mercury, alkaline products, sodium hydroxide.
