Float valves
We supply float valves with PVC, PE, copper or stainless steel ball floats. Ballcocks are used to fill tanks while preventing overflows.
How does a float valve for the industry work?
A ballcock or float valve is a mechanism in water tanks, e.g. flush toilets. The valve controls the water level in the tank, thanks to a lever with a ball-like float which rises and eventually closes the valve with a rising water level, avoiding an overflow. The valve lever drops with a declining water level, reopening the valve and enabling a water flow into the tank.
Syveco’s range of ballcock valves consists of:
- PVC-U body and a PE float which can be used in water, acid or basic fluid tanks
- full stainless steel, brass body and polyethylene ball or brass body and copper ball float with an inner stainless-steel mechanism and a BSP connection for water distribution and watering. An integrated tuning compensator avoids vibrations and shocks. The copper float version is ACS-certified (French certificate for potable water). This range has a maximum admissible pressure of 10 bar and a temperature range from -10°C to 90°C, depending on the model.
